WHO WE ARE
The Heart Behind What We Do
Raven Charity and Humanitarian Initiative (RCHI) is an impact-driven non-profit organisation based in Abuja, Nigeria. We are currently dedicated to improving the lives of vulnerable individuals, families, and communities in Abuja and it’s environs, with the vision to scale our humanitarian aid, empowerment programmes, and sustainable interventions across Nigeria. Beyond direct relief, our initiatives are designed to promote social cohesion, creating the unified community foundations essential for sustaining long-term impact.
Recognising that poverty strips away not just material resources but also dignity, hope, and human connection, RCHI was built on the belief that lasting change requires both practical support and restored humanity. Through our initiatives including the Raven Foodbank, Raven Healthcare, Raven Employment, and the forthcoming Raven Education programme, the organisation works to meet urgent needs while rebuilding stability and belonging, one family at a time.
We use Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs as our foundational framework, but we do so with a critical, “human-first” lens. We recognize that human needs are often random and overlapping. So whether a beneficiary enters through the Raven Foodbank (Physiological) or Raven Employment (Safety/Esteem), they are immediately granted access to our entire support network.
With every project, every act of service, and every life touched, we move closer to a future where love leads, and communities rise stronger together.
