RCHI launches with call to action for collective support

We are grateful to announce the official launch of the Raven Charity and Humanitarian Initiative (RCHI), held at the Valencia Hotel in Abuja, a meaningful milestone in our commitment to improving the mental, emotional, and physical well-being of vulnerable individuals and communities.

The launch marked more than the beginning of an organisation; it marked the strengthening of a shared vision rooted in compassion, excellence, integrity, community, and faith. During the event, our Founder, Miss Adekanye, shared how RCHI’s projects align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and our long-term vision to create sustainable, measurable impact.

We were deeply honoured by the presence and encouragement of distinguished guests and partners, including Prince Agba, Chief Dare, and Hon. (Dr.) Abike Dabiri-Erewa, who commended the vision and pledged their support. Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa was represented by Mrs. Omobolanle Olatunde, who delivered a goodwill message on behalf of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM).

We also appreciate the support of our Chairperson and Chief Launcher, Mrs. Felicia Arenyeka; retired Federal Permanent Secretary, Mr. S.O. Odewale; Director of Diaspora Affairs at the Directorate of Technical Cooperation in Africa (DTCA), Mr. Okeoghenemaro T.P. Sefia, Esq.; and our Board Secretary, Barr. Oyindamola Fasanya, who highlighted the progress made over the past year and encouraged continued support toward upcoming projects.

The presence of our Board members, volunteers, beneficiaries, and partner organisations, including Feed the Vulnerable Families, Tabitha Mission for Orphans and Widows International, RCCG Christ the Anchor and Central Parishes, When Women Pray, and ECWA Fellowship Karu, made the moment even more significant.

We were encouraged by the pledges and donations made at the launch, including institutional support that will strengthen our initiatives and expand our reach.

This launch represents both a beginning and a call to collective action. We believe lasting change happens when communities come together with a shared heart to serve. As we move forward, Raven Charity remains committed to restoring dignity, strengthening families, and building communities through compassion in action.
